Vinyasa means ‘to move with the breath’, each movement in the sequence will be done in time with an inhalation or an exhalation. Some of the most popular yoga styles, including Ashtanga and Power Yoga, are taught in a vinyasa style – meaning the series of poses flows purposefully with the breath.
Maricha’s Vinyasa classes are a blend of ancient wisdom across many yogic traditions to form new expressions. These classes offer more variety in their sequencing than Ashtanga style, but it will always include sun salutations. Maricha works on each single class to offer to her students a safe and beautiful experience of their Body, Breathe, and Mind.
Vinyasa Yoga is athletic in nature, combining hard work with deep concentration to build strength, flexibility, concentration, balance and well being.
